What do I need?
You choose
- A sublimation-ready blank
- Your artwork, photo, logo, name, or other design
Tinker has the basic setup
- Sublimation printer and ink
- Sublimation paper
- Heat press / tumbler press
- Heat tape and basic protective paper
- Canva for simple design setup
Before you press: blanks use different temperatures and times. Check the blank instructions and Maker Studio reference guide before starting. Ask staff before operating heat equipment.
Maker Studio pilot pricing
Buy your project blank from Tinker: basic sublimation equipment use is included.
Bring your own blank/material: $5 basic Maker Studio equipment-use fee.
Specialty consumables, extended equipment time, custom design work, classes, and specialty equipment may cost extra. This is pilot pricing while we learn what works best for our makers.
How it works
- Pick a blank. Choose one from Tinker or bring a compatible material.
- Make your design. Bring a ready-to-print file or create something simple in Canva.
- Use the Maker Studio. Match your project to the correct equipment and instructions.
- Make it. Print, press, peel, and take home what you created.
